How it works
Denplan Essentials allows you to budget for essential dental care, such as check-ups, scale and polishes, and dental x-rays. It also includes mandatory supplementary insurance to cover unexpected expenses related to dental emergencies or injuries.
Our goal is to ensure that all our patients can have a smile they can be proud of at a price they can afford. With Denplan Essentials, you can easily manage the cost of routine dental treatment through a private dental payment plan that suits your needs.
Coverage provided by Denplan Essentials
- Up to 2 routine dental examinations per year.
- Up to 2 scale and polish treatments with the dentist.
- 1 dental x-ray per year.
- 10% coverage for any clinically necessary additional treatments (excluding cosmetic and implant procedures).
Your mandatory supplementary insurance will cover:
- Temporary emergency dental treatment in the UK**
- Temporary emergency dental treatment when abroad***
- Up to £12,000 towards one course of oral cancer treatment for up to 18 months after diagnosis.
- Up to £62 for each night you spend in hospital under the exclusive care of a maxillofacial or dental surgeon for head or neck treatment.
- Coverage of up to £10,000 per injury, up to £400 per incident, and up to £450 per incident.
Denplan insurance services also provide a 24-hour worldwide emergency dental helpline and assistance for any questions related to your supplementary insurance.
